About the Alliance

Irish Alliance for Trustworthy AI is an independent initiative dedicated to ensuring that artificial intelligence develops in ways that benefit Irish society.

The Alliance was founded by Louise McCormack, an ethical AI researcher and PhD researcher in trustworthy artificial intelligence.

We bring together people from technology, business, education, research, public policy, community organisations and civil society to explore how AI can contribute to a more prosperous, democratic and inclusive Ireland.

Our public-interest work includes mapping Ireland's emerging AI governance system, including the AI Office of Ireland and the 13 designated market surveillance authorities.
